Internship vacancy: M&A analyst (m/f)

Location: Ghent

Possibility to work full-time in our experienced team for a period of 3 to 6 months. During an internship you work intensively and from A to Z on current M&A assignments.

VDP (www.vdp.be) is an independent M&A and corporate finance boutique, focusing on mid-market M&A transactions and other advisory services in Belgium, with over 30 years of experience. The team of 14 professionals has a track record of more than 400 transactions in a broad range of sectors, both at a national and international level.

Responsibilities

In-depth analyses of companies and broader markets and sectors
Contribute to preparations of internal and external documents, such as financial models, investment memoranda, etc.
Attending customer meetings

Competences

You are a passionate master’s student or recent graduate in an economic or engineering field with strong academic results
Previous experience in investment banking, consulting or audit is recommended (but not a must)
Proficient in Dutch and English, knowledge of French is a plus
Interest and affinity for corporate finance
Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Team player with good analytical and communication skills
You have a good sense of humour
You are available for 3 to 6 months
