Lieven obtained an MSc in Business Economics – Finance at the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven), as well as a PBa in Textile Technology at the Hogeschool Gent (HOGENT). He also followed the Advanced Management Program at the Vlerick Business School.
In 1993 he started his professional career as co-founder of PR Force, an independent PR consultancy that was successfully sold in 2002. He then served as Managing Director and later Country CEO at Citigate Dewe Rogerson and Grayling, respectively. Lieven was project manager for more than 25 ECM transactions (IPOs, SPOs) on Euronext Brussels. Lieven has been active within VDP since 2011.
